Megan Perry grew up in the rural area of North East Somerset. She studied International Politics at Aberystwyth University, and then specialised in Food and Water Security at Masters level. Following this, she worked as a lambing assistant in Devon for two months where she broadened her experience of farming. She then began working for the Sustainable Food Trust as a Policy Intern, before taking a full time job as a Personal and Research Assistant to SFT Policy Director, Richard Young. She now works as the SFT’s Policy and Communications Officer.
In her spare time she helps her family with their small farm where they rear Black Welsh Mountain sheep.
