Vanessa Kimbell

Vanessa is a 3rd generation baker of Italian descent, and qualified as a baker age 18 after spending her childhood helping out in a bakery in the South of France.

The resident in house baker at Bakerybits, and the category leader of the sourdough section of The World Bread Awards, Vanessa is passionate about ethical and sustainable food and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 Food Programme. She teaches sourdough bread making at The Sourdough School and is currently writing her second recipe book, which is due to be published Sept 2015 by Kyle Cathie.
