We believe that the change needed to transform our global food systems, will only happen if an informed and hungry public demand healthier, sustainably produced food.
Through our Communications & Citizen Engagement programme, we aim to tell the inspiring stories of those putting the principles of sustainable food systems into practice. We want to share information and resources on overcoming challenges and solutions, and reach the general public on the issues that count, inspiring them to take individual action.
Our work in this area aims to:
– Develop engaging, creative communications materials that help to drive key issues and messages up the public agenda
– Create practical toolkits and resources, to help each individual play their part in the change that is needed
– Disseminate the complex messages of scientific research in accessible, understandable formats
This project aims to build a bank of stories and information that every individual citizen, from farmers to eaters, can use to learn more about building healthy food communities.
