This new programme from hill farmer Gareth Wyn Jones features Sustainable Food Trust Chief Exec Patrick Holden on his farm in West Wales.
There is a crisis in the dairy industry, but does big business have all the answers? Gareth discovers some radical solutions from some unexpected places.
Featuring Patrick Holden on his farm, Bwlchwernen Fawr, where he rears Ayrshire dairy cows and uses the milk to make Hafod cheese, Patrick explains why he thinks small is beautiful, and why it is important to keep things local. Patrick grows as much food to feed his cows on-farm as possible, and processes the milk into cheese on-farm too.
