Adam Horovitz is a poet and author based in the heart of Cider with Rosie country. His first collection, Turning, was published by Headland in 2011 and a memoir celebrating the Slad valley, A Thousand Laurie Lees (History Press, 2014), was published for Laurie Lee’s centenary. He was the Herefordshire poet in residence in 2015/16. He released an album of poetry and music, Little Metropolis, in 2015. His latest book, The Soil Never Sleeps, was released by Palewell Press in January 2018. He is currently working on a show based on that book with fiddle player Becky Dellow, mixing poetry with music from the farmlands of Britain.
