Sara Grady, with Alice V Robinson
Sara Grady previously directed programs at New York’s Glynwood Center for Regional Food & Farming, advancing regenerative agriculture and food culture in the Hudson Valley region. Now based in the UK, Sara consults with various food and farming enterprises to provide strategic planning, research, and project management services. Currently, Sara is focused on creating a new supply of traceable leather made from hides of pastured animals. In the UK she is collaborating with Alice V Robinson, and in New York she is partnered with Pergamena tannery.
Designer Alice V Robinson has spent the past three years creating womenswear collections from animal hides which would have not been otherwise used; as she followed the journey from livestock farm to finished products, she explored the relationship between farming and fashion by revealing the life behind the leather.
