Hannah McGowan

Originally from Northern California, Hannah McGowan left her small farming community for New York to attend the Culinary Institute of America.

Upon receiving her associates degree, Hannah spent time working, as a cook, a baker, a barista, and a volunteer educator, hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the agricultural system and local food movement. Hannah currently resides in Italy, studying at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, cultivating her love of food, history and gardening. She hopes that through her work with the SFT, she can make a difference by educating others on important issues.
