Rebecca Michael Elderkin
Rebecca became interested in agriculture and its dynamic links to health after working with a small startup NGO in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Her experience learning about ecological agriculture and community health abroad inspired her to attend the University of Montana. She graduated with a Masters of Public Health and Community Health and Prevention Sciences. Striving to merge disciplines, she focused her studies on land use patterns as they relate to conditions that influence community and individual health. As a Health Education Specialist living in Missoula, Montana, she likes to take time away by enjoying the outdoors backpacking and trail running and reading old books.
