Sophie is about to graduate from a Masters in Migration and Diaspora Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London. With an interest in the relationship between migration and the environment, she centred her dissertation around agricultural adaptation in the context of climate change in Tanzania. Currently she is interning for the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) on issues around climate change and migration. Having worked in various forms of education, she aspires to link issues around migration, the environment and social justice in an educational manner. In her free time Sophie enjoys painting, hiking and being outside.
