Stefano is working as a Senior Researcher in Market & Business at the Organic Research Centre (ORC). He has a PhD in Rural Development from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Agriculture Science from the University of Pisa.
He is currently working on the EC funded projects Distribution of the added value of the organic food chain and Innovation for sustainable sheep and goat production in Europe (Horizon2020).
Before joining the ORC, Stefano worked as a consultant for the Sustainable Food Trust (SFT), where he contributed to a number of reports such as Soil degradation: a major threat to humanity and consultation responses.
He also worked as a researcher at the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and the Italian National Institute for Agricultural Economics (INEA).
