Social media volunteer
We are a small Bristol-based charity with a global reach. We work to accelerate the transition to more sustainable food systems through providing leadership on key areas, working collaboratively with others and raising awareness of important issues through our campaigns.
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate volunteer to help run our social media and wider communications.
What the role entails:
We need help in drafting content, monitoring and responding to comments, updating images, events and info and keeping the pages running smoothly. We also want to maximise our reach and increase our following – this will be a key goal of the volunteer role.
What skills and abilities we’re looking for:
We are seeking someone with a genuine passion and interest in the work we do. You will need to have demonstrable skills in writing and an ability to communicate clearly and a good knowledge of social media. Other digital marketing or website experience would also be desirable. Some understanding of the food & farming sector is preferable.

This role would suit 2 days per week. Fewer hours/flexibility will be considered.
Our office is based in Totterdown, Bristol. It may be possible to do this role from home.
We reimburse expenses within agreed guidelines which should cover your travel and lunch.
