At the Sustainable Food Trust we believe that high-quality internships can be extremely positive experiences.
We regularly recruit for interns in both the Communications & Engagement, and Research & Policy areas of our work.
Internships are unpaid, however we can offer a small stipend towards travel, and occassionally accommodation, costs. Any cost agreements are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Internships can be full or part-time, and normally run for a minimum of 12 weeks.
We look to appoint knowledgeable interns with an understanding of the issues, who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. Some previous experience working within the food movement is usually beneficial.
Although we are unable to pay for your time, we offer unique opportunities for experience and network building. Demand for our internships is extremely high and as such the application process is quite competitive. If you would like to be considered for a potential internship please check back to this page, where we will announce any opportunities that are available.
