Sustainable Food Trust founder and CEO, Patrick Holden, has been awarded Advocate of the Year at The King’s Foundation Awards 2025.

The award is presented to an individual who has gone above and beyond to promote the philosophy of Harmony during the year. Harmony is a guiding principle of the Sustainable Food Trust’s work, which is inspired by our philosophy of the interconnectedness of the health of soil, plants, animals and people.

This recognition also reflects Patrick’s lifelong commitment to farming in alignment with nature, and to advocating for sustainable food systems both in the UK and globally. Harmony is foundational to the approach at Holden Farm Dairy – now the longest established organic dairy farm in Wales – where these principles are put into daily practice.

The King’s Foundation Awards celebrate individuals and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in creating a more sustainable, harmonious future. The awards shine a light on those making a tangible impact through education, craft, the built environment, and the natural world – all core pillars of The King’s Foundation’s work.

Please join us in celebrating this recognition of Patrick’s work and that of all the 2025 award winners.
